The device for an elongated product wound into a roll is provided with support devices for the roll so that the latter is rotatable around its center line. It comprises a single piece of plastic with a back plate (1), of which the length is greater than the width, and to an outer end of the back plate connects an outer arm (2), which extends approximately parallel to the back plate. The free outer end of the arm is slightly bent in a direction turned away from the back plate. The arm forms with the back plate a stirrup-shaped suspension component. Preferably, the arm is slightly sprung in relation to the back plate.
