<p>Image processing performed in an image output apparatus according to image data for improving the image quality can be controlled at an image data supply side such as an image pickup apparatus. Control data for controlling image processing performed in the image output apparatus is correlated with image data when preset. A digital camera (10) performs image analysis for image data picked up and sets control data. This control data is correlated with the image data and output. Thus, it is possible to control the image processing performed in the image output apparatus. Since the control data is not uniformly prepared but set according to the analysis of the image data, it is possible to realize image processing appropriate for each image.</p> |
