The invention relates to a method and a system for the partial automatic recording of parameter values (14) for parameters (12), necessary for particular processes (10), which provide telecommunication services. A definition mask (20) is used, from which a recording mask (18) is automatically generated, which is suitable for the recording of the paramete r values (14). The recording mask (18) is process-specific and embodied such that inconsistencies with regard to the values (14) are excluded, whereby th e value (14) of a parameter (12) used by several processes (10) need only be input once.
