The invention concerns a bogie whereof the structure essentially consists of two longitudinal beams (3) in mechanically-welded assembly, maintained by cross members, with I-shaped cross-section, that is it consists of an upper base plate (5) and a lower base plate (7) linked by a vertical web (9), said structure being supported at each of its ends on wheels (12) linked by axles (10) maintained by spring supports (4) integral with the structure. Said bogie is characterized in that each of the spring supports (4) is terminated, in its upper part, by a part which constitutes the base plate of the longitudinal beam (3).
