PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing a lithium-contained nitride for a lithium secondary battery, which can improve lifetime property and capacity of the lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the lithium-contained nitride comprises the steps of: synthesizing the lithium-contained nitride; sintering the nitride at 600-800deg.C for 6-10 hours; grinding the sintered nitride mechanically by using a ball mill, wherein the ground lithium-contained nitride has an average particle diameter of 1-50 micrometer.
