<p>A hinge 10 comprises a frame fixture 12 for attaching to a frame 18 and a sash fixture 14 for attaching to a wing 20, wherein the sash fixture 14 comprises a sash plate 22 which is fastened to the wing 20, a sash member 24 which is removably mounted on the sash plate 22 and which is pivotally connected to the frame fixture 12, and a cover 26 which is removably attached to the sash member 24 and which substantially covers the sash member 24 and the sash plate 22 from view. The sash member 24 may be slidably mounted to the sash plate 22 so as to provide adjustment of the hinge 10 relative to the wing 20. Adjustment may be carried out by rotating a threaded member 60, which is provided on the sash member 24 and which engages the sash plate 2. The cover 26 may be screwed to the sash member 24, the screw 70 only being accessible from the rear of the sash 20. The cover 26 provides the hinge 10 with increased security.</p> |
