A head (11) having regular polygonal cross-section continues from a shank (10). The head has an expanding portion (13) with cross-sectional area gradually increasing toward the shank and a reducing portion (14) with a cross-sectional area gradually reducing toward the shank. The reducing portion continues from the expanding portion in a direction of an axis of the shank. The reducing portion is arranged nearer the shank than the expanding portion. An Independent claim is also included for a connector.
