The invention relates to a natural fruit concentrate for soft drinks and to a process for preparing the same. The concentrate comprises 44...45 parts by weight of natural juice and 56...55 parts by weight of sugar, saccharine or glucose. The process for preparing said concentrate consists in separating the juice from the pulp in centrifugal squeezing-separating devices, the pulp resulting from the juice extraction being subjected, together with the kernels and the stalks, to a drying process using the forced ventilation and the grinding, with a view to employing them in the preparation of concentrated fodder for animals, the juice mixed with sugar, saccharine or glucose being stored in vessels for 24 hours, until said sugar, saccharine or glucose is completely dissolved, then the mixture is homogeneized by stirring and poured into sealed packages.
