APPARATUS FOR HEATING PULP

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for heating a pulp so as to improve the arrangement of constituent components. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus A for heating the pulp is provided with a pulp introduction port 11 for introducing the pulp, a steam introduction port 12 for introducing steam, a stirrer 13 for stirring the pulp introduced through the pulp introduction port 11 at a high temperature and a pulp discharge port 14 for discharging the pulp stirred with the stirrer 13. The apparatus A for heating the pulp is further equipped with a heater body 1 arranged in the horizontal direction and the stirrer 13 is provided with a screw flight part 13b continuous in the form of a screw around a rotating shaft 13a and blade parts 13c discontinuous around the rotating shaft 13a. The pulp introduction port 11 is installed at the bottom of the heater body 1 and connected to an introduction passage 2 in which a screw conveyor 3 is arranged. The tip of the introduction passage 2 is provided so as to face the screw flight part 13b.
