<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for reducing operational costs and man hours in the production of books. SOLUTION: A method for managing the production of books includes a step for calculating the life cycle of a book from the kind and the sales goal of the book to anticipate a change in the amount of shipping, a step for calculating the production cost of the book in the calculated life cycle, for a plurality of production methods, to select the most cost-effective production method, and a step for indicating an amount of production and delivery date according to the selected production method.</p> |
