PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for inspecting foldable mobile information terminals while keeping the state of them constant. SOLUTION: A mobile telephone 100 is supported by first and second terminal sections 2, 3 while being kept open. A magnetic force detection section 4 is provided to the first terminal support section 2 to face a magnet 106 of the mobile telephone 100 and an electromagnet 5 is provided to the second terminal support section 3 to face a magnetic sensor 107 of the mobile telephone 100. An information processor 40 acquires information of the strength of magnetic field detected by the magnetic force detection section 4 and discriminates the magnet 106 to be normal when the strength of magnetic field is a specified value or more. Further, the information processor 40 controls the electromagnet 5 to be ON or OFF and acquires a signal produced by the magnetic sensor 107 in each of ON/OFF states. The information processor 40 discriminates whether or not the magnetic sensor 107 normally generates the signal on the basis of the acquired signal.
