The method involves repeating the following steps ; (a) determination of a vector lambda illustrating the current state of equilibrium from a current linear model of the aircraft (b) determination of equilibrium values for model parameters from lambda (c) calculation of the dynamic component of model behavior from at least a number of the values (d) introduction of the dynamic component into the linear model to obtain a new current linear model An Independent claim is made for a device for real-time determination of the behavior of an aircraft.
