<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector in simple structure and small size, which locks a card with high reliability even without providing a notched part at the side part of the card. SOLUTION: A card connector 1 has a card holding space 12 to and from which, a card is inserted and pulled out through an opening 11, and card lock mechanisms 2 having a card checker 4 are arranged at the top end part of respective guide arms extending form both ends of a card holder 6. The card lock mechanisms 2 is not interlinked with an eject mechanism 3 for ejecting the card held in the card holding space 12. The card checker 4 is rotatably held around an axis having the same direction with the direction of inserting and pull out the card, and moves from a contact position to a retracting position by being pressed by the card when the card is inserted into the card holding space 12. The eject mechanism 3 ejects the card utilizing the energy of elasticity reserved when the card is inserted into the card holding space 12.</p> |
