PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually recognize whether a portable telephone is a utilizing state needing the input of a password from out of the portable telephone. SOLUTION: The portable telephone 10 comprises a module 2, which an electronic commerce to a commerce service providing side server can be conduced partly or entirely. The telephone 10 can be used in a set state, needing an authentication information input via the module or a set state which does not need authentication information. The telephone 10 further comprises a display lamp 9 for displaying the unnecessary set state, when the telephone 10 is used in a set state which does not need authentication information.
