PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator structure where the temperature of a stator core can be lowered amply. SOLUTION: Insulator side plates 27 and insulator end plates 28 are placed around the tooth portions 23 of the stator core 20, and coils 30 are wound around the outside thereof to form the stator structure for dynamo-electric machines. Projections 4a and 4b are formed on the faces of the insulators 27 located opposite the tooth portions 23. Thus, a gap is produced between the stator core 20 and the insulators 27, and the gaps are used as stator coolant paths 35, into which cooling liquid is guided.
