PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device with a remote copy function capable of facilitating management with respect to image information by each communication destination. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine 20 selects a logging terminal to which image information is to be transferred for each communication destination facsimile machine 30 for conducting communication processing of the image information, and when the facsimile machine 20 makes communication processing of the image information (transmission processing or reception processing) with a facsimile machine 30, the facsimile machine 20 detects which of three logging terminals 41, 42 and 43 is to be the logging terminal set to the facsimile machine 30, and transfers the transmitted or received image information to the detected logging terminal.
