The front cover of the book would be painted on the flat surface or in relief by a local artist interpreting the main theme of the book. A brief synopsis of the book would be displayed on the back cover to allow casual observers to obtain an understanding as to the content of the book. The method further involves obtaining the services of artists to decorate the books in a narrative theme taken from the subject matter of the book.
