The invention relates to a piston-type accumulator comprising a housing (1) that has a hydraulic fluid connection (2), a piston (9) with a gliding motion, which is located in the housing (1) and separates a fluid chamber (3) from a gas chamber (4) and at least one pair of annular seals (8, 10) positioned at an axial distance (a) from one another between the piston (9) and the housing (1). The first annular seal (8) is subjected to the pressure in the fluid chamber (3) and the second annular seal (10) is subjected to the pressure in the gas chamber (4). To guarantee a fluid lubrication of the second annular seal (10), the axial distance (a) between the two annular seals (8, 10) is less than the stroke of the piston (9). In addition, a lubrication gap (s) is provided between the piston (9) and the housing (1) in the vicinity of the first annular seal (8). A fluid of the fluid chamber (3), which wets the piston (9), is carried along to the second annular seal (10) by means of the lubrication gap, dependent on the piston stroke. |
