PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated agrochemical granule in which an agrochemical active ingredient is not eluted immediately after application to a field, elution starts after a fixed period and the elution is completed within the cultivation period of a field crop and a coated agrochemical granule especially effective for application to a slightly water-soluble agrochemical active ingredient and to provide a method for producing the coated agrochemical granule and a method for using the coated agrochemical granule. SOLUTION: The surface of an agrochemical granule comprising one or more kinds of slightly water-soluble agrochemical active ingredients and one or more kinds of water-swellable substances is coated with a coating film which is composed of a thermoplastic resin as a main component, has one-layer structure and is mixed with water-insoluble or slightly water-soluble inorganic powder.
