PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a damask-stretched interior decoration surface with luxury and improved attraction without losing texture in an interior decoration silk cloth by inhibiting the generation of wrinkles and slack. SOLUTION: In the damask-stretched interior decoration, two end edges 12 and 13 where an interior decoration silk cloth 11 faces are locked to two sets of gripping members 15 and 15 that are installed on a ground surface 14 with required distance, the interior decoration silk cloth 11 is stretched between the two sets of gripping members 15 and 15, and the ground surface 14 is covered and decorated with the interior decoration silk cloth 11. In the damask-stretched interior decoration, the interior decoration silk cloth 11 is made of a hydrophobic fiber where an officially fixed moisture rate that is prescribed by JIS-L-0105 is equal to or less than 1.0%, and an expansion rate that is prescribed by the JIS-L-1096-B method (expansion property-testing method) in the interior silk cloth is set to 1.0-3.0%.
