METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WAVEGUIDE SLOT ARRAY ANTENNA FOR DEDICATED SHORT RANGE COMMUNICATION USING DOUBLE-SIDED DIELECTRIC SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a waveguide slot array antenna is provided to reduce resistance loss and dielectric loss and prevent radiation loss, while allowing for ease of adjustment of polarization angle. CONSTITUTION: A double-sided dielectric substrate has a bottom surface where slots(2) are formed, and a top surface where strip patch lines(1) are formed in such a manner that the strip patch lines are arranged perpendicularly to the slots. A micro patch array antenna(5) is mounted on a waveguide(3) in such a manner that the micro patch array antenna covers the top surface of the waveguide. The micro patch array antenna and the waveguide are connected with each other through a rivet(4).
