PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel disorder diagnostic system capable of highly accurately diagnosing a blood vessel disorder on the basis of a pulse wave propagation speed. SOLUTION: This blood vessel disorder diagnostic system is provided with a first pulse wave propagation velocity information measuring means 80 for measuring the first pulse wave propagation velocity PWV1 in a first prescribed section of an organism, a second pulse wave propagation velocity information measuring means 81 for measuring the second pulse wave propagation velocity PWV2 in a second section different from the first section almost simultaneously with measurement of the first pulse wave propagation velocity PWV1, and a comparison value calculating means 88 for calculating the ratio R of the second pulse wave propagation velocity PWV2 to the first pulse wave propagation velocity PWV1 as a comparison value of the first pulse wave propagation velocity PWV1 and the second pulse wave propagation velocity PWV2. The pulse wave propagation velocity PWV changes in relation to not only the blood vessel disorder but also blood pressure, however, since the ratio R is calculated on the basis of the almost simultaneously measured first pulse wave propagation velocity PWV1 and second pulse wave propagation velocity PWV2, influence of a change in the blood pressure is removed. Thus, the blood vessel disorder can be highly accurately diagnosed by using the ratio R. |
