PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the transfer time from the monitor scanning of the inflow of a contrast medium to the main scanning thereof in X-ray computed tomographic equipment. SOLUTION: The X-ray computed tomographic equipment is equipped with a first pair 11 having a first X-ray tube bulb 111 and a first X-ray detector 113, a second pair 12 having a second X-ray tube bulb 121 and a second X-ray detector 123 and a Z shift mechanism 13 for moving at least one of the first and second pairs along a rotary shaft. Monitor scanning operation is carried out by the first pair and main scanning operation is carried out by the second pair. The Z shift mechanism is controlled to set the distance between the first and second pairs to a distance calculated by adding the approach run distance of a top plate to the distance between a monitoring position and a start position within a photographing range or subtracting the same from the distance between both positions.
