PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting a fishing rod, which can be easily set on any fishing spot such as river, lake, rocky shore, quay, sand beach, etc., in a stable state, enabling the rough adjustment of the elevation angle of the rod by the stepwise selection of the angle and enabling the continuous fine adjustment of the elevation angle between the stepped angles. SOLUTION: The rod-supporting device is provided with a front leg 2 to prevent the falling of the rod in lateral direction an auxiliary leg 3 laterally projectable beyond the front leg 2 at need and having grounding mechanisms 8 placed at both end parts to enable the adjustment of the grounding height, a main frame 4 having the auxiliary leg and the front leg 2 at the front side, a rear leg 5 extensible backward relative to the main frame and an inclination table 6 detachably attached to the main frame 4, holding the fishing rod 18 and enabling the stepwise rough adjustment and the continuous fine adjustment of the elevation angle of the fishing rod.
