BEAM INDEX TYPE CATHODE RAY DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A beam index type cathode ray display is provided to reduce skin effects and core losses caused due to the increase of frequency, while reducing a high frequency noise and power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A beam index type cathode ray display comprises a driving device for feeding a first horizontal deflection current to a first deflection yoke(4a) in synchronization with a horizontal synchronous signal and a second horizontal deflection current to a second deflection yoke(4b), wherein the second horizontal deflection current has a phase difference with respect to the first horizontal deflection current, larger than 90 degrees and smaller than 180 degrees. The driving device includes a horizontal deflection current generating unit(7) for outputting the first horizontal deflection current to the first deflection yoke; and a phase converting unit(8) for outputting the second horizontal deflection current to the second deflection yoke.
