PURPOSE: A method for measuring body fat and momentum is provided to allow a user to easily measure body fat and momentum through the simple action of pressing the sensor attached to the watch of the user. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step(S401) of storing information of a user; a second step(S403) of receiving a request on measurement of body fat from the user; a third step(S405) of supplying current to both electrodes of the measurement device, and measuring the body impedance of the user; a fourth step(S407) of extracting information stored in the first step, and calculating a body fat ratio by using the extracted information and the measured body impedance; and a fifth step(S409) of displaying the calculated body fat ratio on a display.
