FIELD: jewelry. SUBSTANCE: setting is provided with side slits. It has blind cast and planted fastener hinged to cast for fastening gemstone by locking it with aid of flat spring provided with round hole. Spring is mounted inside cast and secured in position by means of rivet passed through its hole. Planted fastener is bent to cabochon shape and has T-shaped slit for locking flat spring therein. Gemstone is pushed with its flat foot into cast and secured therein with planted fastener held in closed position by means of spring passed through T-shaped slit. Inserts similar in shape but made of different gemstones may be changed. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of damage-free fixation of gemstone. 5 dwg
