PURPOSE: A safety valve for a gas regulator is provided to allow assembly work to be easily carried out and achieve improved stability of assembly. CONSTITUTION: A safety valve(32) comprises a cone-shaped coil spring(40) fit to a push rod(34), wherein the push rod has a movable rod(36) formed into a stepped shape such that the outer diameter of an upper portion(38) of the movable rod corresponds to the inner diameter of a top portion(42) of the coil spring; and a fixing member(50) having a circular groove(52) formed at the upper portion of the fixing member. The circular groove has an outer surface(54) corresponding to the outer diameter of a lower portion(44) of the coil spring, and an inner surface(56) corresponding to the inner diameter of the top portion of the coil spring. The fixing member has a circular protrusion(58) formed at the lower end of the outer surface of the fixing member, so as to allow the safety valve to be coupled with a safety valve housing in a stable manner.
