The mechanical assembly comprises a lever (1) drilled with an eyelet (11), a rod (2) and a clevis (3) connected to the rod. The clevis has two parallel cheeks passed though by a common spindle (31) engaged in the eyelet, the lever being held between the clevis cheeks. A runner (41) slides in a lever rectilinear housing (10) which gives access to the eyelet through than opening (100). The runner is held by elastic flaps (42) in a forward position where it confines the clevis spindle in the eyelet and is able to be elastically pushed towards the housing bottom to allow insertion of the spindle. Independent claims are included for a locking piece and an application of the mechanical assembly.
