MICROCAPSULE CONTAINING METAL EXTRACTANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eco-friendly technique for extracting and reverse- extracting copper ion dissolving in an aqueous solution by using a microcapsule containing a metal extractant free from an organic solvent. SOLUTION: The objective microcapsule type metal extractant is provided by means of dripping a mixture emulsion of an alginate and 5-dodecyl salcylaldoxime (LIX860) of a hydrophobic metal extracting reagent, through an orifice into an aqueous calcium chloride solution, to solve the above problem.
