PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption heat pump or a dehumidifying air conditioner capable of adsorbing or desorbing an adsorptive in a low relative vapor pressure range. SOLUTION: The adsorption heat pump comprises the adsorptive, an adsorbing/desorbing part with an adsorbing material to adsorb or desorb the adsorptive, an evaporation part for evaporating the adsorptive connected to the adsorbing/desorbing part, and a condensation part for condensing the adsorptive connected to the adsorbing/desorbing part. In the adsorption heat pump, the adsorbing material is zeolite with A) the framework density from 10.0 T/1,000Å<3> to 16.0 T/1,000Å<3> ; B) the pore diameter from 3Åto 10Å; and C) the differential adsorption heat from 40 kJ/mol to 65 kJ/mol.
