PURPOSE: An organic electro-luminescent device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve optical characteristics by using a color filter having functions such as selective absorption and transmission and an anti-reflective layer. CONSTITUTION: A black matrix(22) is formed on a substrate(20). Color filters(24a,24b,24c) of R, G, and B are formed on the substrate(20) to cover the black matrix(22). An overcoat layer(26) is formed on the color filters(24a,24b,24c). A first electrode(28) is formed on the overcoat layer(26). An insulating layer(30) is formed on a predetermined position of the first electrode(28). A barrier rib(32) is formed on the insulating layer(30). A second electrode(36) is formed on an entire surface of the substrate(20). An organic electro-luminescent layer(34) is formed between the first and the second electrodes(28,36). An anti-reflective layer(38) is formed on an outer surface of the substrate(20).
