PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for densifying a ceramics product by which fine powder generated on the surface of a ceramics product can remarkably be reduced, and further, the hardness, refractoriness and gas resistance of the ceramic product can be made excellent, and its further thinning and lightening can be realized. SOLUTION: In the method for densifying the ceramics product, a microwave is applied in a state where a microwave absorber 2 is arranged in the vicinity of a ceramics product, and, by the heat generation of the microwave absorber 2, the ceramics product 1 is densified more than the state of its surface 1a. Thus, fine powder generated on the surface of the ceramics product can remarkably be reduced, and further, its hardness, refractoriness and gas resistance can be improved, and its further lightening can be realized.
