ROAD CHARGE COLLECTION NETWORK USING CELL PHONE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A road charge collection network using a cell phone and method thereof is provided to charge a user for toll by cell phone charge after passing a tollgate by sharing charge information with a base station. CONSTITUTION: A cell phone(10') having a Bluetooth communication module is installed at a vehicle(10). A recognition system(20) transmits and receives data to and from the cell phone by Bluetooth communication when the vehicle passes a tollgate. A cell phone service center(60) receives information of the vehicle checked by the recognition system(20) and asks for a cell phone charge with to a user. A host computer(30) stores information received via a server computer(40) and transfers processed information to the service center(60).
