APPARATUS FOR MEASURING ANTI-CORROSION CHARACTERISTIC OF METAL

PURPOSE: An anti-corrosion characteristic measuring apparatus for metal is provided to prevent metal from being corroded by periodically detecting corrosion degree of metal caused by potential difference thereof. CONSTITUTION: An anti-corrosion characteristic measuring apparatus includes a deposition vessel(101) having 5% of NaCl(100) therein. Aluminum(102) and copper(103) are immersed in the deposition vessel(101). Aluminum(102) and copper(103) are electrically connected to a DC power supply(104) in such a manner that aluminum(102) has a positive pole and copper(103) has a negative pole. When DC power is applied to the aluminum(102) and copper(103), ions are moved between aluminum(102) and copper(103). In order to set a reference potential, aluminum(102) is electrically connected to a reference copper electrode(107). A tube(108) is connected between the reference copper electrode(107) and aluminum(102).
