PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fold a reflecting mirror on a document placing base. SOLUTION: The document display apparatus comprises the document placing base 11, a first arm 31 rotatably supported at one end side to the base 11, a reflecting mirror supporting frame rotatably supported to the other end side of the arm 31, a reflecting mirror 33 mounted in the frame 32 to reflect the image light of the document 12 placed on the base 11 to a video camera 50 side, and interlocking means (37, 42, 46, 47 and 49) for developing the frame 32 from the arm 13 in cooperation with the operation for rotating the arm 31 folded on the base 11, in a direction for standing a user and folding the frame 32 to the arm 31 side by interlocking to the operation for rotating the standing arm 31 on the base 11 by the user in the folding direction.
