PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly obtain the welding of overlapping portions of packaging films by a necessary length. SOLUTION: A packaging film tube welding apparatus is provided with a film feed unit 40 for feeding packaging films A in the state that both of their side edges are overlapped one another. A heating roller 51 is provided which approaches the front side of overlapping portions of the packaging films A when they are fed, and rotates while sandwiching the overlapping portions between the heating roller 51 and a parts discharge cylinder 7. When the heating roller 51 is brought into contact with the overlapping portions and rotates, it is positioned on the side of the parts discharge cylinder 7 to weld the overlapping portions, and when welding work is finished, it is designed so as to leave the parts discharge cylinder 7. Since the welding apparatus is structured in such a way, a vertical heater having a length corresponding to that of a packaging bag body is not required, and it is unnecessary to make the height of a packaging machine itself high. Further, even in the case where a quantity of parts to be discharged is varied, and accordingly, a bag body is also made shorter or longer in its length, this can simply be adjusted only by varying the feed length of the packaging films, and time of changing arrangements is reduced. |
