<p>A part of a pattern is printed in a divided area of a medium (3) to be printed by an automatic printer (1), the image of the printed pattern is picked up by an image pickup device (6), and the printed area is fed forward after the image pickup, so that the next divided area is located in an effective print area (16). The image of the printed pattern is picked up again by the image pickup device (6), both images are compared with each other, correction is performed when the images are deviated from each other, and connection positions of the firstly printed pattern and the pattern to be printed are matched with each other and printing is performed.</p> |
