<p>A semiconductor light emitting element comprising a combination of a near ultraviolet LED and a fluorescent substance layer containing a plurality of fluorescent substances that absorb near ultraviolet ray emitted by this near ultraviolet LED to emit fluorescence having a light emitting peak in a visible wavelength region, the fluorescent substance layer containing four kinds of fluorescent substances, a blue fluorescent substance, a green fluorescent substance, a green fluorescent substance and a yellow fluorescent substance. Accordingly, the semiconductor light emitting element makes up for lowering in light flux due to red-based light emission low in luminous efficacy by means of yellow-based light emission comparatively high in luminous efficacy, provides white-based light excellent in terms of color balance, and emits high-light-flux, high-Ra white-based light.</p> |
