<p>Generating elements each containing a liquid junction preventive bag (46) are housed in a cell can (45), and electrode plates (41a, 41b, 41c) constituting the generating elements are connected in series. The electromotive force of each generating element of a nickel-hydrogen storage battery is 1.2 V, and an output voltage of 3.6 V is obtained by the series connection. Thus, a closed alkaline storage battery adaptable to the operating voltages of various apparatuses and having a high versatility can be produced.</p> |
