PURPOSE: An intake air temperature decreasing device of a vehicle engine is provided to increase engine output by enhancing charging efficiency of combustion chamber during hot seasons, while preventing deterioration of exhaust system. CONSTITUTION: An intake air temperature decreasing device comprises an air conditioning duct(10); a blower(40) and an evaporator(20) embedded in the air conditioning duct; a surge tank(60) of an intake manifold; a cold air inlet pipe(70) for interconnecting the surge tank and the air conditioning duct; a pressure valve(80) arranged at the outlet of the cold air inlet pipe, which opens when the intake air pressure in the surge tank is higher than a reference level; a pressure sensor(90) mounted on the surge tank; and a control unit(100) for controlling intensity of the voltage being supplied to the blower in accordance with the intake air pressure when the intake air pressure measured by the pressure sensor is higher than the reference level.
