PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable system and device for picture display which automatically switch and display a picture at a displayed part as an exclusive picture when the picture display device has no input or the inputted picture is specific. SOLUTION: The picture display system 1 comprises an indication device 2 which indicates picture data to be displayed and transmits a video signal to the picture display device 3, the picture display device 3 obtaining the transmitted picture data and analyzing and switching the picture data and so on to display the picture at the displayed part 4, and the displayed part 4 which displays the picture projected by the picture display device 3.
