PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device that can solve a problem of causing a hard-to-see image when a shake greatly in excess of a camera-shake correction range takes place. SOLUTION: The image pickup device of this invention includes: a reproduction processing means 105 for generating a reproduction signal to reproduce prescribed picked up image data; a camera-shake detection means 107 for detecting a part where a camera-shake is caused in excess of a prescribed correction available range in the generated reproduction signal; a display means 100 for utilizing the reproduction signal to display the picked up image data; and a reproduction control means 110 for utilizing the result of detection to control the display.
