PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an entrepreneur to reduce the cost taken for asking to pay public utility charges and to enable a user to be more simple and convenient than payment by a payment form and easily confirm the sum of money claimed of the public utility charges. SOLUTION: This electronic settlement service method includes an electronic claim step of registering the claim data on the public utility charges of a user sent from entrepreneur systems 5-1 to 5-n, and transmitting a claim notice mail used as a claim of public utility charges to a user terminal 1A or 1B through a network 3, a step of E-commerce step of performing account transfer processing for the public utility charges from the user specified account 441 of the user to an entrepreneur specified account of the entrepreneur 442-1 to 442-n according to the request for the on-line account transfer from the user terminal 1A or 1B, and a claim clear step of performing clearing process for the claim data registered in the data base. The electronic settlement service system has the respective parts for implementing the method. |
