PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality imaging process with a simple configuration for an improved efficiency. SOLUTION: A CCD line sensor 40 comprises CCDs 52a-52e, and fiber-like lightguide members 53a-53e attached to the CCDs 52a-52e. The fiber-like lightguide members 53a-53e comprise a plurality of fiber plates 56 arrayed in the main direction. The fiber plate 56 is longer than the width of a photodiode 54 in the sub-direction, and a photostimulable emission R guided expansively in the widthwise direction is guided into the photodiode 54.
