Strummable string instrument has strings divided by supporting saddles and webs into vibration regions with their own acoustic hole

Each string (8) is supported by two saddles (9a, 9b) at the ends of the resonant cover (5) and in between the saddles are two webs (10a, 10b) provided on top of the cover for creating three vibration regions (11a-11c) in a ratio of 16:12:9. These vibration regions create three tones per string and an acoustic hole (12a-12c) in the cover is located in the middle of each region. An independent claim is also included for a musical aid, e.g. song sheet or song book, for this instrument, in which the accompany chords are represented as round, triangular or square symbols corresponding to the shapes of the acoustic holes in the vibration regions.
