PURPOSE: An oil circulation type boiler is provided to improve the thermal efficiency by using oil as a medium to deliver the heat to a heating area. CONSTITUTION: An oil circulation type boiler is composed of a heating medium reservoir(10) filled with water as a heating medium, a heating unit(20) for heating the heating medium, a pipe(25) for the heat-exchange with the heating medium in which the oil is circulated, a heating tube(30) connected to one end of the heat-exchanging pipe and the other end of the heat-exchanging pipe via a heating area, an oil circulation pump(80) for forcibly circulating the oil at the heating tube, a tank(60) for refilling the heating tube with the oil, an oil-leakage detector(50,51) for the heating tube, and a controller(70) for controlling the operation of the respective components and shutting off the operation of the heating unit on detecting the oil leakage. |
