FIELD: technical means for water demineralization by electric dialysis in electric dialyzers with ion-exchange membranes. SUBSTANCE: electric dialyzer has electrodes between which ion-exchange membranes and pads with holes forming conduits for supply of starting water and discharge of dialyzate and concentrate are positioned. Ring protrusions formed around corresponding holes in pads are inserted into holes in membranes. Ring protrusions of pads are 10-30% higher than thickness of dry membranes.
