<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber wherein water of a cell is decreased and Young's modulus of a cell wall is large and to provide a natural musical instrument of good acoustic oscillation characteristics for which the lumber is used. SOLUTION: By a steam atmosphere of >=60 deg.C and <=100 deg.C, the lumber is held in a state wherein a pressure of the atmosphere is raised in a range of >=10 atm and <=30 atm, treated under a state of receiving a hydrostatic pressure from this atmosphere, and the lumber is used as a material for the natural musical instrument.</p> |
