PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission capable of reducing gear noise even if scatter in manufacture arises in the gear section of a sun gear constituting a Ravigneaux type planetary gear structure. SOLUTION: A second sun gear 12 is connected to a first clutch 60, and rotational movement is input from a second planetary gear structure 30. A first sun gear 11 is connected to a third clutch 80 and the rotational movement is input from the second planetary gear structure 30. A first clutch has a clutch hub 61 whose rotation is input from the second planetary gear structure. The clutch hub is provided with a hub cylinder 61b arranged to be coaxially rotatable through a rotary support member 65 at the outer periphery of the input shaft 50. The first sun gear 11 is rotatably arranged through a rotary support member 66 at the outer periphery of the hub cylinder. The inner periphery of the second sun gear 12 is connected to the outer periphery of the front end side of the hub cylinder by spline connection.
